Classes run for 30-50 minutes, and meet once or twice a week. Each week students will be introduced to a new theme such as plants, insects, or animals, and will play fun games as they explore and discover. Each session ends with a nature walk and a recap of the day's theme and what was learned. Little Leaf Learning is self-led; students are encouraged to be curious, to develop their own interests, and engage with the world around them as they discover, learn, and grow.
This depends on the program and age level. We offer independent programs for older age levels, where parents can drop their children off, and parent-toddler programs for younger students where parents must remain on-site. For parent-toddler programs participation is optional, but not required. Our goal is for you and your child to be comfortable and happy so they can play and learn independently.
